    Updated just 3 months ago – Tested and tag up to WordPress 6.7.1

    Actively maintained for over a decade.

    20,000 active uses and 2 support requests in the last 6 months that we did not get to.

    What makes you think its abandoned?

    Do you have an issue with the plugin that you need help with?

    I saw quite more open requests, but ok, great, I have

    here its working on posts and pages, I migrated from another which has some issues, now yours doesn’t count my test requests, I have a script which does runs some checks and the page access with wget isn’t counted, why might that be?

    another thing is, your plugin plugin views are not appearing on simply gallery images, only on the page where the gallery or image is included, is there any way to get it working, in the image capture, title or description?

    Hi

    Regarding your first issue, wget only loads the raw HTML of the page and does not execute JavaScript or AJAX scripts. The view count relies on client-side scripts to register page views, then wget requests will not be counted.

    As for the gallery issue, the script counts URL loads, not events happening on the page. The views are only counted when a page is loaded, but not when interacting with individual gallery images.

    I see, easy post view count works well on another installation and counts any access to a page, probably I have to change the plugin
