    Hi-

    I am a novice to wordpress and still have much to learn. I have a custom page within my theme that I want to modify print wise using Print Friendly. Is there someone who can help me add a footer and a qr code while removing certain unnecessary sections from my printed page layout? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Please review.
    Thanks,
    Will

  • Hi,

    What is the URL of your website?

    For most part, you can force PrintFriendly to include content from one section only by using a class=”print-only”. If there’s something you don’t want to include, you can also use class=”print-no”.

    This article has a list of custom PrintFriendly commands.

    Hope that helps.

    Hi-

    Thanks for your response. I have read all the support and other info about print friendly. It is a great plugin but I am a novice. I am not sure where to put all that specific code to make it do what needs to be done. But in terms of adding classes and other code like that…I am a total loss. I am setting up a crowd-sourcing site with the ability to print out the specific campaigns and hand them out to other people.

    My website address is – http://www.crowdtribution.com.
    Sample campaign page – http://crowdtribution.com/campaigns/chorus-of-canada

    Thanks,

    Edit the page you want the content to appear. Include class=”print-yes” style=”display:none”.

    Like…

    <p class="print-yes" style="display:none">

    How to add a custom footer to printed page or PDF.
