is there no way to have the petition text show by default

    I really just want to have the body of the petition email message on show straight away, can we choose to show it rather than have it hidden and then the person has to click on it?

    Of course. You can simply take the petition text and add it to the page where you put the petition shortcode.

    Then you can choose to hide the message in the petition options.
