    Hi @nbh707,
The only thing that the plugin can do currently provides an expiration time for when the download link no longer is valid. Therefore after the time expires the download link will no longer work.

Is the expiration time automatic or is is something we can set? And if it is something we set, how so?

It is automatically set to never. If you would like to change it, navigate to the Email Before Download options, there is a ‘Default Link Expiration Time’ dropdown menu from which you can select your desired expiration time.

    Hello,

In the plugin Options page, I set the email link expiration timeout – say 10 minutes.

The link sent to the visitor email is in this format:
    https://<my-domain>/<download-dir>/<download-ID>/?uid=cdd2deb662

and after the timeout, this exact link expires.

Anyway, if I delete the ?uid parameter from the URL, the link:
    https://<my-domain>/<download-dir>/<download-ID>/

allows any visitor to download the item.

Is there a way to strongly avoid a visitor to download the item after the timeout?

    Thank you

    Hi @lellolallo,
Thank you for bringing this bug to our attention. The download expiration is not functioning as intended and we are currently fixing the issue. A new version fixing this issue should be released next week.

    Thank you.
