[Resolved] Is there a way to just remove the tags that were automatically created?

  • I am curious. Once I activate this plugin and tell it to “Re-Tag All Posts” .. if I don’t like what it does or how it works, is there an easy way to just reverse back to the way my tags were and undo what was added by this plugin? Before I use it, I want to make sure that I can just reverse any tags that the plugin might create (for all my posts) if I’m not happy with the way it works. Is this possible? If so, how?

You would have to run some SQL to delete the tags either that or a Regular Expression to remove anything inside my branded span tags that I use to wrap tags in.

They all have a class (bold/link) that can be used to identify the span to remove it and the code I use is in the source.

Also there is an option to “clean up” on re-save which will always remove existing tags BEFORE adding new ones. However there is no “auto remove all tags” option.
