We support several countries. E.g. Uganda. For products from any supplier in Uganda, we need to set prices in UGX. The users in say UK should see the price in GBP converted via exchange rate feed + %.

We are using woocommerce, and by default all products can only have a fixed global currency.

I have seen some plugins to allow currency per item, but this is not exactly what we need.

We also want to ask the user to select the coutry before showing him products. I am guessing this is not possible via plugin – we would have to code this?

    Hi @numtix!

There is a currency converter plugin available on WooCommerce.com: https://woocommerce.com/products/currency-converter-widget. This will allow you to show different currencies based on the visitor’s location.

We also want to ask the user to select the coutry before showing him products. I am guessing this is not possible via plugin – we would have to code this?

I’m not sure of a plugin that can handle this, to be honest with you. You could try also asking this in the Advanced WooCommerce Facebook group.

    Hope that helps!
