• We have around 100 RSS Feeds and looking for a way – without using Feedburner – of creating static versions of a our rss feeds as many of them do not change but they are large, some of them have nearly 400 items but not real content only links to the podcasts.

    Any suggestions please?

Even if we went the Feedburner way we would have way too many accounts i.e. per feed.

I’m also looking for a way to cache RSS feeds. We have about 15 feeds that get thousands of hits and are causing the site to slow down. WP Super Cache doesn’t seem to cache them at all.

    Any advice?

I believe Feeds actually ARE cached by default, unless you check the box to not cache them.

Look at the bottom of your feed’s raw content – does it have your ‘Cached page generated by WP-Super-Cache on…. line?
