Is there a way to add in a font that doesn’t already come up like if I have a font I want to use that doesn’t come up in the Google fonts list What about adding in your own fonts but still being able to use this control for them.???
Yes I know it says “Easy Google Fonts” but it would be nice to use the tool with other fonts not listed in the Google list.

ok I have found a solution to this as you can use the wp-cufon plugin to do this and be able to use any font but you must convert the font into the .js font file like it says for that one in the instructions and the upload that file to /wp-content/plugins/fonts/
directory and you must create the dir if it is not already there. I found this easy to do in a ftp program. Then after that if you have done it correctly then in the plugin in the box below you need to follow the example for adding in your customized font setting using then font family name you used to create the .js file. You also when you follow the example need to make sure you do it with the correct any css class selector. Once you have done this then your text will appear with your font. After this you can add that same selector to your easy google fonts control and then when you go back into your typography customization then from there you can add your custom settings from easy google fonts plugins to your custom text.
Even though it says the wp-cufon font plugin is older and has not been tested with the newer wordpress I found it to work just fine yay!

Make sure you follow the instruction carefully.
Font conversion link just in case your having a hard time finding it is :

As long as you know your HTML / CSS and class selectors this will work fine!
This does not add the font to the google fonts list but if you are paying attention it allows you to add your own font to your wordpress text and then use the easy google fonts plugin for further customization there afterward.

    Hi carlskeel,
It is possible to do this with our plugin but you need to have php knowledge. Read this thread for an example. Cheers
