  • Hey Wrip,
Is your model dialog visible? As I am not able to see my form appearing on my website http://www.monkshouts.org

Hi wrip, I have tested some shortcode based plugins other than Contact Form 7 and they work correctly. Digging around online, I see some people saying that Contact Form 7 actually chose to do their own version of shortcodes instead of using what was built in WordPress, which would cause Modal Dialog not to be able to work with that plugin.

I see two main options for you:

    – Contact the author of Contact Form 7 and ask if there is a particular reason why they would not be using standard shortcodes and ask if there is anything you can do to form it to use standard shortcodes.

    – Find a different contact form plugin that uses the standard mechanism. I know that gravity forms also has non-standard shortcodes.

Jim=> This is a different issue than what you are having.

Easy Modal will work with CF7 and Gravity Forms shortcodes. http://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-modal

Thanks for the link. I will look into that plugin implementation to see how they do the shortcode processing.

Dug into the code and see that they have special filters to find the gravity forms shortcodes and process them. I will see about implementing a similar mechanism in Modal Dialog soon.

    Thanks for all the answers.
Yeah I used Easy Modal too. It works there.
