This guide has instructions for importing an existing podcast feed into PowerPress:

Thank you so much for your help!

So I had apparently been able to do that, just didn’t realize they would go to posts when imported. I put them in their own category called “podcast”. In settings I turned on Category Podcasting

On this page I have put the shortcode [powerpress_playlist]
    http://www.right-turn.org/right-turn-radio/

There is a player that shows up but it does not play anything. When I go to the individual posts they do play.

What I would like, if it’s possible, to have a playlist of some if not all the episodes that the user can choose from to play.

Make sure in the PowerPress settings, you have clicked the checkbox next to PowerPress Playlist Player at the bottom of the page and clicked the Save Changes button.

PowerPress only adds podcasts to WordPress posts, not pages. So, that’s why they imported in the way they did.

It is possible to create a PowerPress playlist based on a category, and you may be able to work this to fit the purpose of only displaying specific episodes. But there’s no way to just add specific episodes to a playlist, say by checking a box somewhere or selecting them from a list. More information here on how to modify the shortcode:
