  • Rounded corners is just a style setting, lets say we added thumbnails to the twenty eleven theme, these are added to the excerpts entry-summary section, in the style they already have borders so we round the borders, we would add to style.css in our child theme!

    .entry-summary img {
      	-webkit-border-radius: 3px;
    	-moz-border-radius: 3px;
    	-o-border-radius: 3px;
    	border-radius: 3px;
    }

    For all images if they have borders!

    /** Image border corners
    * Add rounded border corners to all WordPress-added images
    * but not things like badges and icons and the like
    */
    img[class*="align"],
    img[class*="wp-image-"],
    #content .gallery .gallery-icon img {
      	-webkit-border-radius: 3px;
    	-moz-border-radius: 3px;
    	-o-border-radius: 3px;
    	border-radius: 3px;
    }

    Tks David.
    Works in IE?

    IE

    border-radius: 3px;

    You would use clipping for images without borders!

    .entry-summary img {
    	border: none;
            clip: rect(3px 3px 3px 3px); /* IE6, IE7 */
    	clip: rect(3px, 3px, 3px, 3px);
    }
