Is there a plugin helps me display latest posts on a page?

    I bought a theme days ago, and the theme only supports displaying only one single static PAGE on the home page.

    But instead displaying one static page, I want to display my latest posts on the home page.

    So I wonder is there a plugin helping me do this? The page’s url keeps still, but the contents will auto-change once I submit a new post.

    I find some plugins, but they are all widgets, I do not want a widget but just display the posts in the page’s content area.

    Hello JonnyGreenwood,

    Go to wordpress admin -> Settings -> Reading -> Front page displays

    change Front page to your desired page which you want to show as your website opening webpage.. save the setting and enjoy…..

    That’s nagative.

    The theme displays some sliders on the homepage, and to display the slides, I must set the homepage as a static page with a specific template.

    So I cannot change the front page settings, it would be no use or make the slides stop working.

    If you can recommend a plugin which can display posts with titles and excerpts on a page via shortcode, it would be perfect.

    I found one but it only list the titles, no excerpts would show up.

    Solved, I missed the note part of that plugin, in fact it is capable to meet my demand.
