[Resolved] Is there a limit to content on a page

  • Is there a limit to content on a page? I am putting a lot of stuff on my main page and WordPress is getting a little funny about taking more. Is there any king of a word count or media limit that you can put on one page?

    Thanks, Joe

  • I believe that pagination will occur after a certain point. Do a good for pagination if you aren’t sure what that is.

I also think that wordpress limits you to a certain amount of storage. So if you are just using wordpress you may want to buy some hosting, which I think wordpress offers.

google search* (not good haha sorry)

Sorry I’m not really understanding you post or what pagination is?????

Can you post your page URL? Then, I will tell you the safest limits and the tools to check it.

As far as I know there is no limit to how much content can be added to a post or page. I’m not sure what you mean by “WordPress is getting a little funny about taking more”.

As for pagination, this only happens when you are displaying posts and the number of post on your home page(if you are displaying posts and not a static page) reaches the number of post you stipulated.

What @shanw321 is saying about “wordpress limits you to a certain amount of storage” is wrong.

Thank you Christine for clarifying this for me
