Is there a hook for saving changes in the media gallery?

I’m trying to have a function run once a user has saved changes to their media gallery. I figured there must be an action hook that’s executed after the user clicks “Save All Changes”, but the closest I can come to finding is the edit_attachments. However, edit_attachments gets executed for each attachment that is changed, causing my function to erroneously occur multiple times. Does a hook exist specifically for when all changes have been saved for a media gallery?

  • Sorry I’m not posting with a helpful response. Just thought I’d second your question – I’d love to know the answer too!

I’ve written a plugin that modifies the post thumbnail using imagemagick (it’s used here to generate the polaroid image). If this plugin could hook in after changes are saved in the media gallery it would be ideal!

Thanks for asking this question, captainsupern00b!

    No takers?

Adam Brown’s hooks database is often useful for this sort of thing…
