Is there a “have_page” test?

    Yep, though I’m a relative novice, I’ve installed a theme I butchered from someone else. Right now it tests for have_posts and if successful, displays one, else presents a search. Simple-minded.

    I’ve considered the possibility of adding an About page. Right now, I have a link, built in to the template, to an about.htm stored in my /www root. (That file in turn has a bult-in link back to the blog).

    If I replace it with a static WordPress About page, I’d like to add something on the order of a “have_page” test to my template. Is there such a beast?
