Is there a dev mode?

Is there a button or toggl that will temporarily deactivate hummingbird? Hummingbird has been fantastic for my site’s initial loading and response time, but after any revision I now have to clear cache and re-check files and perform a LOT of tasks in Hummingbird to get changes to show up. Is there a faster one-click way to clear page/browser cache, re-generate consolidated CSS/JS files, etc…?
