is the theme childtheme premade?

    hello dear
    at the theme option section if i select the childtheme black square and click save,do that mean that a childtheme has been created?
    or do i still have to download a childtheme plugin to make the theme set for some editing plans that i have.

    you still have to create a child theme, but you can use the parent themes skins from child theme using that selection option.
