• Hi

This plugin is just what I needed after starting major updates on a site.
The problem is, after setting up a custom page not found page to re-direct to, which worked at the time, this morning when I checked the statistics on a guest counter, I discovered guests where being re-directed to the default WordPress page, although I am sure I did not reset this!
Yesterday, a couple of hours after setting it up, I found the same, when I am sure I had no reason to reset it.

So my question is what could be causing this, subsequently re-setting re-direction to the Home page?

    Regards

    Sorry,
I guess this was my fault.
Between two versions I changed the variable name and simply forgot to use them after the update.
This should not happen again after you store the custom page at least one time (again).

    Hi

It is a while since the above post, but since actually nothing had changed, with redirection being taken over by the WP default page, I gave this up for a while, but decided to visit the issue since I really need re-direction.

I have crosschecked my custom page not found error page.
If I however type any non-existent site page, it almost always re-directs to the default WordPress page not found page, which does not have the information I want!

This is exactly what I also get when I try 1, 2 other similar plugins.

What could be leading to the ignoring of the the custom page, clearly set under “Target Url: (Start with http://) “?

Is there any way to force this?

    Thank you in advance.
