 * Hi there
 * My host is not partnered with Cloudflare. I set up the site with Cloudflare years
   ago before this plugin came about.
 * As the site is set up via the cloudflare website and it seems this plugin is
   still in development would be ok to disable it? OR am I likely to have issues?

 * Hi [@tlwh](https://wordpress.org/support/users/tlwh/),
 * If you’re using plugin version 1.x and deactivate then you may have mixed content
   issues.
 * Plugin version 3.x is customized for WordPress. The plugin has a few features
   which are unique to the plugin itself:
 * – Apply Default Settings
    – Automatic Cache Purge – IP Rewrite – HTTP2 Server
   Push (currently disabled)
 * You can use the cloudflare.com dashboard to edit other settings which are in
   the plugin and much more.
 * You may have issues with “Automatic Cache Purge”, “IP Rewrite” functionalities.
   If you’re not using these functionalities you won’t have any issues by disabling
   the plugin.

 * Hi,
 * Thanks for the reply. Ok I have a 1x version installed.
 * There are no settings other than HTTPS Protocol Rewriting selected to on with
   the plugin however I’m not using https.
 * I don’t see “Automatic Cache Purge”, “IP Rewrite” on the plugin settings?
 * Thoughts/

 * Hi [@tlwh](https://wordpress.org/support/users/tlwh/),
 * Version 1.x doesn’t include “Automatic Cache Purge”, you’ll need to upgrade to
   3.x in order to take advantage of that functionality.
 * There is no setting for “IP Rewrite” – it happens automatically in both plugins.
 * Thanks,
    John

 * If you’re not using flexible SSL you probably won’t have any issues. IP’s of
   the requests made to your website will not be rewritten if you disable the plugin.
 * If the features I’m talking about sound unfamiliar to you, you probably will
   not have any issues disabling the plugin.
 * Just be careful whether you’re using flexible SSL or no SSL.

 * Ok,thanks for very much. It didn’t have any issues when disabled.

 * One last question.
 * If cloudflare is already activated via the cloudflare site. Is there a need for
   someone not needing Flexible SSL to have the plugin? Or is using cloudflare via
   the cloudflare site basically the same?
 * Thanks

 * [@tlwh](https://wordpress.org/support/users/tlwh/), if I understood your question
   correctly the plugin fixes the infinite loop problem which can occur with flexible
   SSL setting. If you’re not using flexible SSL then
 * – Apply Default Settings
    – Automatic Cache Purge – IP Rewrite – HTTP2 Server
   Push (currently disabled)
 * are the unique settings compared to cloudflare.com dashboard. So there are benefits
   using the plugin for your blog.
 * Thanks
