 * we cannot connect to server (over 40)… we take the usual error… can it cause 
   the last updates to webmin of linux server?

   to external servers

 * I double checked – everything working fine on our side.
    Does the webmin updates
   your PHP configuration (I think it does)? Please check PHP configuration related
   to access to external URLs from PHP.
 * Other LaTeX plugins do not use external servers.

 * QL is an awesome and smart (the top…) plugin but always has these problems with
   the “server”… we’ll keep it as cache-reader for the past… and continue with wp-
   latex for the new topics…

 * Glad to know! I guess your PHP configuration does not allow redirects.
    That 
   is why it started to work again after we switched to HTTPS in new plugin version.
