    Hi there.

I have your plugin installed, with global site tracking and enhanced ecommerce tacking code enabled.

I am currently analyzing WooCommerce performance, and https://snag.gy/ey4GN6.jpg indicates that Google Tag Manager is being loaded, and causes significant render blocking.

Does your plugin load ressources from google tag manager? and if so, how do I work around the render blocking.

Thank you for an excellient plugin.

  • It would appear that tag manager is indeed loaded, as part of the new gtas.js, which is seems pretty standard.

What doesn’t seem standard, is the long blocking time trying to load it: See https://snag.gy/fQ91HB.jpg

1 second is a bit above 25% of the total page load speed, which is a killer.

The second I disable gtag.js, the site both loads and renders much faster.

Any ideas on how to defer gtag.js? on a static site I’d just move it to the bottom script section, but I don’t know how to do it with WordPress.

    Cheers, Kenny

    Hi Kenny,

Sorry for the delay in response!

Global site tracking method load the gtm.load,gtm.js,gtm.dom & ideally it should not happen because currently we have verified your store & doesn’t seem any rendering or time blocking on the front end.

It majorly happens if 2 gtm or gtag snippets added on one page. Are you still facing this in the backend?

    Thanks & Regards,
