  • Hello,

Firefox does not support push notifications yet but they are working on adding support. We will add support to our plugin once the browser supports them.

Adding support for Safari push notifications on Mac OSX is on our roadmap but we do not have a release date at this time.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

    Firefox also supports notifications.

On this site it works (I use firefox beta 41)

    Hello Djib,

The link you sent is for the Notifications API which has been around since Firefox 22. These are not push notifications and require the user to have your page open in a tab to get notifications. The note about Firefox 41 is for using that API with “Web Workers”.

Push Notifications require the Push API which is currenlty scheduled for Firefox 42.

We are looking into adding support for both Safari and Firefox and will update this thread when we add each.

    Thanks.

We now support Safari (Mac OSX) and Firefox (Desktop nightly 44+) with version 1.1.1 of our plugin.

    Thanks.
