    Hi, Great plugin!
    I have set up PMP with Paypal express and set it up with a yearly billing cycle. I would like to confirm if the payment will automatically be taken out and invoiced every cycle?

    Also, how would this work if a member is added manually? (will they be notified once there first billing is over that they can continue with their membership by paying using the site or would they have to re-Join?

    You can see the recurring payment setup in your PayPal account. Just do a simple $1 test to see how it works.

    So essentially the recurring payments and invoice are being managed from PayPal except you use the PayPal Pro.

    I´m testing PayPal Pro with this plugin and it is impressive.

    I switched from s2member to Paid Membership Pro and I love the setup, simple and straight forward.

    The subscription is handled on the gateway side. So BlueBox is correct that you should log into PayPal and confirm that the subscription was made there.

    RE adding users manually, if you give them a membership level via the edit user screen in the dashboard PMPro has no way to know what you mean by this. By default, it gives the user the level “pro bono” with no payment or subscription. If you want to add someone “manually” with payment, etc, you should walk through the checkout from the front end on behalf of your user.
