Support » Plugin: WP Hide & Security Enhancer » Is manual configuration possible

  • My server is setup not accept clear passwords, I use PGP keys. Regular FTP is disabled and only SFTP is allowed using PGP Keys.
I am unable to update wordpress or plugins automatically, I have to update it all manually. This is a small price I am willing to pay for security.

All other pluging that require access to htaccess or any other file, give me a warning that they were unable to access file and give me instructions on what to edit manually in order for plugin to work.
This plugin just gave me a warning, but no instructions on what to edit manually.
The bad part is that I was unable to access the site after attempting run your plugin. Good thing that I have multisite installation and I was not attempting this on my primary site, so I was able to get in to Network Admin to disable the plugin.

Sorry, I put question in the title, but not in the body.
So, Is manual configuration possible? And the plugin should be giving instructions on what to change when it fails to access required files.
