Is it still broken in the latest version??

    Everything has been broken since the latest updates a month ago, and I’m nervous to try and update to the latest version in June. Did they fix everything with this latest remake? Is it working perfectly? I can’t risk updating and messing with my Google SEO status with a broken sitemap again, it’s too disruptive. Does anyone have any idea of another update is coming or if it’s safe and tested to work correctly now??

    I just installed it and search.google says “Couldn’t fetch” and my cPanel File Manager does not show the sitemap.xml file.
    I will try a different plugin.

    That’s disappointing if it’s still broken??

    The current version is 4.1.5 (2022-06-14), which predates this thread… Can the developer weigh in here?

    In the meantime, I guess I’ll stay at version 4.1.1, which I previously had to roll back to.

    Yep that’s the exact version I’m still using. Too afraid to upgrade… Can’t take the risk. But 4.1.1 works nicely and doesn’t cause any problems.

    Yes, the latest version available is stable and you can try using that one. Also, Plugins do not generate physical sitemap.xml files, Plugin creates virtual one. You can feed that sitemap URL path to the Google search console and it should work as usual.
