Is it secure to open port/firewall traffic for authentication?

    port 44389/TCP is not an encrypted port. We need to be sure that the authentication traffic is encrypted end to end.

    Can you please confirm?

    The cloud LDAP plugin works over the HTTP API calls to miniOrange servers and from the miniOrange servers to your Active Directory server. The authentication traffic from miniOrange to your LDAP server is not encrypted.
    The connection can be encrypted if you use the LDAPS connection. In order to use the LDAPS connection, your LDAP server must be set up for LDAPS.
