Is it possible to use markdown within a spoiler (or others)?

Hello. I just started using this plugin and have created a spoiler. Within the spoiler I wanted to use markdown syntax to format things like: *, **, _, etc. But, the markdown isn’t being processed, so I currently have to use <ul>, <em>, <strong>, etc. For regular WordPress, I can add markdown="1" or markdown="block" to certain HTML tags (e.g. <td>) to enable markdown processing. Is there something similar I can do here? If not, is this something that could be added? Thanks! 😺
