Support » Fixing WordPress » Is it possible to take only content area?

  • Hi everyone,
I have a wordpress blog on my website. However it is not integrated with my website and looks like a standalone website!!
Is it possible only to take the “content” area from wordpresss i.e without the Categories, header, etc and make it look to a visitor that he is just visiting another section of the website.
I want to integrate the wordpress content with my styling and menu of my “parent” website.
    Any solutions?

  • Yes, it would be relatively easy to do that, providing you know how to do basic coding.

What I would do is go to your blog, and use ‘view source’ on the page (ctrl+u in firefox). Then you can copy and paste that code into your parent website coding, then delete the categories, header, etc code, until you’re left with what you want.

Of course, the easy way to do it would be to create your website as pages in your WP installation.

This might be a good article to read:
