    Hello,
I’m sending out mails from several email ids from my website like admin@mywebsite.com, sales@mywebsite.com, hr@mywebsite.com.

My mails are being considered as spam by certain mail clients as I’m sending out from a php script.
So, I’m configuring SMTP mail for my WordPress website.
With this plugin, I noticed it gave option to configure only one email with it’s SMTP configurations.

The mails are actually notification mails triggered whenever someone submits a form on Wpforms.
Is it possible to trigger a mail from a different email address for each forms?
They all have the same SMTP configuration.

    Please clarify.
    Thank you 🙂

    Hi @hameedhudeen

WP Mail SMTP option called From Email is actually a replacement of the default one provided by WordPress when emails are sent and no FROM is specified: wordpress@mywebsite.com. So we replace wordpress@mywebsite.com with any value you specify in FROM EMAIL option inside WP Mail SMTP plugin admin area.
BUT if you configured WPForms forms notifications correctly and defined there FROM email and name – http://cloud.supportally.com/9ee9a9e2336c – those values will be used instead of the default from WP Mail SMTP plugin settings.

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you so much! 🙂

    Hi,

I just wanted to confirm even though i tested this.

If my form sends an email from admin@ but my wp smtp is set to info@ with smtp auth for info@ – the email will go from admin@ but use the authentication info@ ? (force from email is unchecked)

So the email still does not go to spam because it is authenticated even though the from is different?
