    Hi @jory,

for the maintenance of a website I’m working on, I have a few user roles added. My question now is if it is possible to restrict access of these user roles to specific pods? So if let’s say user “route-redacteur” logs in, he will only see (and be able to edit/add/delete) the pods “fietsroutes” and “agenda fietsroutes”.

I looked at the ‘roles and capebilities’ section under Pods Admin but that doesn’t go more specific than ‘pods_content’. I also looked at the members plugin, but also no option for rights on a specific pod.

Can you tell me if this is at all possible, or is the general pods rights as specific as it gets?

    Thanks in advance,
    Bert.

    Hello @berttervoert

You can set custom capabilities for each Pod separately. These are Pod settings 🙂
After you’ve done that you can assign these capabilities to your roles.

If you want to test the outcome of these settings, please see my plugin View Admin As:
    https://nl.wordpress.org/plugins/view-admin-as/
This plugin also includes a role/capabilities manager you can use as an alternative for Members.

    Cheers, Jory
