Is it possible to modify the section no.8 in the cookie policy?

    Hello,

    I would like to ask if it is possible to modify section 8 on the generated cookie policy page. The section has the title “Your Rights With Respect to personal data”. Is it possible to add more content on this file?

    Hi @stevendigital,

    Yes, it is possible to modify the text in your Legal documents. I will detail the methods to do so below.

    #1: Disable synchronization with Complianz
    When editing your Cookie Policy (in the Gutenberg or Classic Editor) you will find the option “Document Status” on the right-hand side. Selecting ‘Edit document and stop synchronization’ will convert the shortcode to plain HTML, now ready for editing.

    Please note that disabling synchronization prevents the plugin from dynamically updating the document.

    #2: Replacing/adjusting text in the shortcode with a filter
    This approach allows you to change the texts, whilst keeping your documents synchronized with the Complianz Wizard & CookieDatabase. This approach requires a code snippet to change the HTML output.
