Some posts on a site I work on have large images that are shrunk down to fit the page and ideally they’d be included in the functionality of this plugin. However it seems that they aren’t as they don’t have an a href tag wrapping them.

Is that possible to change somehow ?

    Sorry, this is not possible.

The idea is, that links to existing images will open in a lightbox. These can may even be links without any image at all – it’s only important, that the link refers to an image.

So if you want to have your images to open in a lightbox you need to wrap them to a link element, there is no other way. It would also be very confusing if clicking an image which is not linked at all and therefore also not focusable, will open something.

    Thanks for the reply
