[resolved] Is it possible to have a single filter for a few pages? (2 posts)

About 80% of my site uses the same plugins.

The rest use these + one or two others that are only specific to each page.

Is there a way to define one filter that controls plugins for a few pages?

I currently have plugin filter set at a by page basis but it's a pain updating them all if I need to add a new plugin that is only used on 1 or 2 pages.

    Thanks,

    Jim

You can use fuzzy url matching and make the pages children of a particular page. For instance if the pages you want to affect are as follows.

    http://www.domain.com/my/post/i/want/to/affect/2/
    http://www.domain.com/my/post/i/want/to/affect/3/
    http://www.domain.com/my/post/i/want/to/affect/4/
    http://www.domain.com/my/post/i/want/to/affect/5/

Then you could create a filter that has the url http://www.domain.com/my/post/i/want/to/effect/ and check affect children and it will affect all of those posts. You could also create a filter that has the permalink set to http://www.domain.com/my/ and it will affect those posts but it will also affect http://www.domain.com/my/post/i/want/to/not/affect/.
