Is it possible to embed a video simply by pasting the URL without the shortcode?

    Hi

    Can this plugin automatically convert a YouTube URL into a video? It would be great if it could.

    The wordpress built in embedder is not properly responsive on my site. I use another responsive YouTube plugin to auto convert the URLs for my very novice users. And i use yours when i need the extra functionality. But i would like to just use your plugin.

    Anyhow, thanks for this plugin! It has the most features of any i have can find. I wanted the start AND stop at specific times. Yours had it. Thank you.

    That should work. If you put the URL between the youtube shortcodes, it should extract the video ID and display it.
