Hello. After the order is shipped the order goes in status “completed” and a tracking-number of gets stored in a custom field within woocommerce. Is there a way to create a custom variable to send the customer the tracking-number? Is there also a way to use dynamic variables in the link which gets shortened?

    Hi @fitnessmagnet

To your first question: there is. Can you provide us the name of the plugin you use for tracking numbers?

To you second question: there actually can be a possibility to do it, however, could you elaborate and use some example? Thanks

    Hi @fitnessmagnet

Ok, you can choose from 2 options. Either we can send you the expansion module and you set it up yourself, or you send us your personal data (url, username and password) to supprt(at)bulkgate.com and we’ll set it up for you 🙂

Either way, contact our support for further conversation

    Hi @woosms ,
I have the same needs as fitnessmagnet, but with a different scenario. Firs of all, I don’t use any plugin, it’s a custom functionality written by me, so it’s easy to modify something, if needed. So the point is: when a client make a new order, I want to send him/her a sms with confirmation link, generated by me. And when he/she click on confirmation link over his/her phone, it leads to a custom page, that change order status to “confirmed”. I store this link as custom field in the order.

So is it possible to have two new variables, lets say “confirm_url” and “shorten_url” to be able to use them in template “New order”? And what kind of information you need to help me?

    Best regards,
    Ivan Filipov
