Is it possible to configure W3TC to upload to CDN only?

    We’re investigating building a shared nothing WordPress environment. Currently W3TC is configured to host attachments, files, etc in the CDN but it is also saving locally to the WordPress installation.

    Is it possible to configure W3TC in a way that it uploads directly to the CDN?
    Would W3TC continue to function appropriately if there was no wp-content folder locally?
