I have been trying for hours to completely remove NextScripts so I can start from scratch.

Once I auto-publish a post, the NextScripts settings will not change. I want the settings to be generated from the default settings I select. So I would like to completely remove NextScripts and all the data it leaves behind.

How do you do this? I tried clearing wp_options NextScripts but that didn’t do anything.. How can I start fresh without deleteing my whole website?

    Regards,

Why would you need to do that? There is nothing in the settings that could mess things up. It’s much easier to fix whatever is troubling you then redo everything.

Please contact support and we will resolve you issues.

In case you have your own reasons then delete the row with the name NS_SNAutoPoster from wp_options.

    Thanks for the quick response.

They do mess up – I’m using NGINX with APC caching if that makes a difference. On all the posts I have already used NextScripts to post with I can only use the posting settings that I have used in the past.. even if I try to change them manually on the post and hit repost they post with the old settings.

I’ve tried fixing it. I’ve tried completely uninstalling NextScripts and clearing all the wp_options (including NS_SNAutoPoster). However, NextScripts is hiding the data somewhere else. No data in custom fields either.

It’s not enough to change the settings and hit repost. There is tooltip on repost button saying the you need to update the post before reposting.

Those settings are saved in custom fields with each post.
