    Hello,

    Thanks for the plugin!

    We don’t want to use contact owners and we just left these unselected and didn’t set a primary contact owner. When emails went out they went out from the website rather than any user.

    Since 2.3 new signups are having an owner assigned but I don’t believe we have changed any settings. Is it still possible to not use contact owners?

    Hi Joseph, in 2.3 we started setting a default contact owner as leaving it blank was causing an issue for some of the replacement codes which refer to a contact owner.

    While it’s not possible to disable this feature, you can ignore it if you’re not using any of the features associated with it.

    In 2.4 we are introducing column management for the contacts table, so you can simply hide the contact owner column.
