Hi

I am currently using S3 with this plugin and working great.
I have a question about the staging site.

I built a staging site, is it OK for staging site to connect to the same S3 bucket?
As long as we don’t delete images from staging site, is it alright?

Any other possible conflict to live site or to staging site?

Please advise on this.

Yes, you can do that, but as you noted, you have to be careful not to delete or update objects via the staging site that are currently in use by production.

It’s often a good idea to use a different IAM User for staging that has reduced permissions and can only read from the bucket.

Similar to that, removing all access to the bucket for staging could also work, with existing offloads still able to be served on staging.
