I’m in the same situation, I have to make several websites GDPR ready. The PVC plugin sets a cookie. It has to, to avoid counting the same visitor multiple times.
There doesn’t seem to be an option to disable cookies on request, so as far as I understand GDPR the plugin is not compliant and there is no easy way to make it.
No worries.
It will be soon integrated with our Cookie Notice https://wordpress.org/plugins/cookie-notice/ plugin that handles cookies and GDPR.

Nice! Looks like exactly what we need.
I realize that this is a free plugin and we have no right to set deadlines, but… how soon is soon? GDPR comes into effect May 24th….
Yes, we’re aware of that and expect it to be released before May 24th

Thanks. Will I need to install this plug-in too? It is not clear. I already have a cookie consent plugin installed you see.
Thanks.
We create multiple plugins so they can work together.
So yes, you will have to (but it should not be problematic as it it most used and best rated cookie consent plugin on the planet).
