    Unfortunately wpfc does not work with Nginx because of .htaccess

    Thanks Emre,
    I thought so. Maybe add this restriction to the description page, since some other Nginx users may try your plugin and abandon it, because they can’t make it work.

    yes you are right. and I added that wpfc works with nginx into my todo list

    @quatrel and Emre

    Here you go…

    https://github.com/pothi/WordPress-Nginx/blob/master/sites-available/wpfc.domainname.tld.conf

    The above sample vhost file requires this file…

    https://github.com/pothi/WordPress-Nginx/blob/master/globals/wpfc.conf

    I hope that works. If it doesn’t, please let me know.

    actually plugin does not always create the same .htaccess so there can be no one .htaccess file. Plugin generates .htaccess for some variables.

    Pothi,
    Thanks for your effort!

    Plugin generates .htaccess for some variables.

    I understand that my solution isn’t perfect / valid for all options provided by this plugin. It can be used as a starting point to customize further. Of course, there are other ways to look into this whole approach. I just made a demo, it seems to work (as you can see from the response headers).

    Thanks for your effort!

    It’s my pleasure to share.

    thank you so much. of course your solution works. For example; example.com
    example.com/eng , example.com/es … if you set up wordpress into sub folder and do not modify .htaccess properly, it does not work. So I cannot use the same .htaccess. I need to modify for url.
