Is the autoresponder in MP a real autoresponder? What happens if I add a new welcome email after 3 days of signing up for new AND existing subscribers and also a second one after 6 days?

In ActiveCampaign (for example) existing subscribers get this e-mail immediately after 3 days and the other one after 6 days. And if a subscriber subscribed just 2 days ago, he or she wil get that email the next day, because it’s 3 days after subscription.

My question is: Does MP have such an advanced autoresponder feature or are it just welcome emails? Problems might occur if I want to add a new email for new AND existing subscribers…

Autoresponder is as real as it gets – it sends emails based on the specified schedule 🙂 However, you cannot add new welcome emails for existing subscribers. It is something that we will look into once we start implementing advanced features such as drip campaigns. Stay tuned!

Do you have an ETA on when you expect to have such a drip campaign feature?
I would go for the $499 option, but’s it’s way overpriced compared to other free solutions like MailerLite. If you’d have a drip campaign function, I’d happily pay. Mostly because clients have one environment to manage there website + email marketing.
Also it’s overpriced now because the features between the old MP and the new one are at the moment almost identical…

You can set up several welcome emails and group them by lists. It pretty much becomes a drip campaign. 🙂
