• Hi,
I am building a block theme. I use bootstrap in my project. In the development process, sometimes I see that the front of the website is not the same as something that is in the block editor. Sometimes in the editor, the look is broken.
I can fix it by changing block editor styles. My question is: Is it safe to change block editor styles? Is it a good idea? For example, if the end-users use different blocks and patterns, is it possible that my custom styles cause problems for them? Or do future WordPress (block editor) versions cause issues?
What are your thoughts? What is the best solution?
    Thanks

  • Hi,

By the sound of it, you may be facing a cache issue on the website as it is not reflecting properly on the front.

If you are using any caching plugins on CDN, I suggest flushing cache regularly on them or enabling automated caching.

In general, there should be no issues with the styles changing, though it should be ensured the front and back are the same.

    Hi @auuurimas,
The front of the website does not have any issues after applying the styles. The problem is that in the block editor, it looks and shows broken.
