Is HivePress or WooCommerce Mandatory?

    Hi Guys,

    I’ve been searching for a favourites plugin with sharing/emailable features for 3 years. Please tell me: is it MANDATORY to be using either HivePress or Woocommerce for this plugin to work? I just have a standard Avada site – not a HivePress or Woocommerce one. Please tell me it will work just fine, independently of either?!

    Hi,

    The Favorites extension is designed to work with the HivePress plugin [WooCoommerce is not needed], as it allows users to favorite listings created by HivePress. If you’re looking to add favorites functionality for regular WordPress posts instead, I’d recommend searching for a “favorite posts” plugin in the WordPress repository.

    Yes, thanks – As I said in my initial message, I’ve BEEN looking for a decent plugin for 3 years already – none are suitable.. all have very limited functionality. Can I use your Hivepress one.. or will it be non-functional/dysfunctional on an Avada site?

    The plugin should work correctly with third-party themes from a functionality perspective, but we can’t be responsible for the CSS styles and layouts of third-party themes, and it’s hard to predict if there will be styling conflicts. If conflicts occur, CSS tweaks may be necessary to resolve them.
