• Sorry if this is in the wrong place. There are forums here on “hacking” but they don’t seem to mean it in the malicious sense.

My blog has received a meaningless comment from
    E-mail : [ Redacted ]
    URL : [ Redacted ]
    Whois : http://whois.arin.net/rest/ip/176.51.123.91

It’s the first spam that’s got past anti-captcha. Should I be worried? Should I be using more than anti-captcha? I’m paranoid because I was recently hacked and am not confident I’m in the clear.

    Thanks

It’s just spam and BTW captchas aren’t really effective as you’ve no doubt realized. 😉

You may find Akismet and Cookies for Comments a more effective combination.

Thanks for replying but I was alarmed because anti-captcha has blocked all spam (and even some legitimate comments) for 6 months. Now suddenly today 2 spams get through (another one since first post).
