# Is generatepress.com down?

 * received this info from my hosting provider:
    $ curl -IvL generatepress.com *
   Rebuilt URL to: generatepress.com/ * Trying 104.236.212.100… * connect to 104.236.212.100
   port 80 failed: Connection timed out * Failed to connect to generatepress.com
   port 80: Connection timed out * Closing connection 0 curl: (7) Failed to connect
   to generatepress.com port 80: Connection timed out
 * is it a reason why I cannot update my website?

   to but the author cannot answer questions like that in these forums.
