Is Garbage Collector mandatory? (1 post)

    Hi guys,

I made quite a few test and I think I finally found the ideal settings for my website.

I had to enable the setting "Clear all cache files when a post or page is published or updated." because I noticed that category pages were not updated, the new post were not displaying while, for example, in the home page I could see the new posts correctly.

My question is, once you enable this setting, every time you publish or update a post/page does the plugin delete all cache files (html files)?

If so, why should I set a garbage collector if anyway files are cleared up every time by that setting?

My website is basically a sport magazine, which is getting busier, so I'm not really sure if I need the garbage collector, and if that is the case how often.

    Can anyone clarify my doubts?
