Is Free Version Number Same As Paid Version Number?

    Is the free version number the same as the paid version number? I use v2.52 of the free plugin. My web host says that I need to update to v5.14 because there is a CVE for v2.52. I see a changelog that shows v5.18 is available (see first link below) but the plugin download page (see second link below) says that v2.52 is available. I suspect that there are different version numbers for free and paid but having information from someone who knows the plugin would be helpful.
