Is email sent from cf7 secure – I’m upgrading to ssl/https

    hi,

    Love cf7! Great plugin…

    I’m about to upgrade our website to ssl/https. Is there anything I need to do to cf7?
    Also, after I upgrade will the email sent from cf7 be secure using HTTPS ?
    and at no time will it be http and then switch to https due to the form code in cf7
    using http for the form? (to avoid man in the middle attack)

    Nothing you need to do with CF7. The actual data being entered into the CF7 form will be encrypted with TLS, but the email sent is not a secure channel at all. Without getting into certain email providers providing encryption between each other just don’t assume that your data is safe. So do not have people enter anything private e.g. social security etc…
