Is a header slideshow available?

There’s no slideshows built into Quark. Images sliders are best served from dedicated plugins. That way, you can find something that not only matches your needs, but for the other people who don’t need them, there wont be unnecessary code bloating the theme.

If you want a slideshow in the banner area, simply install a slider plugin and use their shortcode in the homepage banner sidebar.
